Does it matter which make of wireless usb adapter i buy?

Am getting sky wireless broadband and router is theoretically on its way! However, have just realised one of the pc's is not wireless enabled so I need to buy an adapter pronto. So which one do I buy - can I just buy any regardless (and preferably a cheap one)? Thanks

Any will do, but if you have ethernet on the PC you can just use that (if you can get a cable between the two).

Ok thanks - pc's are not close so cable not am option. Will order the cheap one have seen on play.
