Gaming Chairs. Help

DS has a HDTV, and all the chairs I have looked at say they are not compatible with a HDTV using a hdmi lead, would a wireless one work?

Thank You PR, I had bought him a Camera for Xmas, but his SIL is bringing one over from South Africa for his, so thought of one of these instead, I will go into PC world and ask if not.
