I have an expired f-secure. It was free got it through my bank. i have just remembered. Will re-investigate

Um, my husband is a sales manager at F-secure UK, he's out at the moment, if you like, I'll ask him when he gets back. SHouldn't be too long.

Know I'm probably biased, but F-secure have consistently come out tops in the anti virus software polls.

DH says Barclays used to do it but they don't anymore. He says if you ask him REALLY NICELY he might sort you out a copy

I am not too fussed. I will give AVG a go (at least I won't have to keep renewing subscription). I will shout if it falls below my expectations though

DH says it'll scan your computer and if there are any viruses it will find them and destroy them.

We've got Regcure. I don't think it protects you but it will sort out problems deeeeeeep within the operating system (registry entries - you don't want to get involved with them unless you know what you're doing; I mostly wait 'til my friend's round and then use it!).

Just gone to the F-Secure link - if I have Firefox instead of Explorer I assume it won't work for me?

HeinzSight - I used to be an IT journalist many moons ago and I think I've met your husband and why that means I recognised your photo earlier I have got no idea - maybe we were both at a company do or something. Your little girl is scrummy btw!

I was wondering the same thing, I asked DH whether it might be a work thing!!!! How funny. Like you say, small world! He's been at F-Secure for 4 years, but been in the IT industry for about 14 years.
