I need a CHEAP secondhand laptop - please help!!!

Need a laptop that will:

connect to wireless broadband (mainly Mumsnet & facebook)
view pictures from digital camera (USB lead)
has word, excel etc for basic wordprocessing spreadshhet tasks
let me listen to music from a CD

any ideas anyone? - I dont want to spend much as I already have a desktop

even better anyone selling such a machine?

How cheap? Acer laptops are pretty cheap, and did well in a recent Which test.

Have you looked in your local paper for a second hand one ?

I've always found Dell really good. If you ring them and tell them exactly what you do and do not want they can do some really good deals.I have no links to them workwise etc so nothing to gain from this but they've always been good for me. Do ring though, you get a better service I think via phone.

Like maybe £100 cheap!! It that unreasonable?

Like I say Im not after anything fancy. Might try Dell I know they are good but that would mean I have to wait till after xmas & save up a bit (which I am rubbish at )

Have looked in paper found 1 for £50 but its about 10 years old but running on Windows ME, it has a wireless card but no CD drive (from what I can gather)

The Acer Aspire 1 costs £179 new, and came 3rd in the which tests - it's very little, though.
