Umm that's it really

in previous versions I could hit 'split table' but this doesn't seem to be an option

Is it the "split cells" option you're looking for?

No

I wanted to divide the table into 2 separate tables

width ways or length ways
if width ways you need to get outside the table at the level you want to split and then hit return, I think
Or you could just copy the entire table and then delete the rows you don't want from each

does this help?

RustyBear · 09/11/2008 19:31

It's on the layout tab, in the Merge section

I have done it by copy & paste

Silly programme
