Can I back up all my photos on Picasa instead of saving them to CDR?

Can I trust Picasa to not lose them??? Seems good to me and obv cheaper.

You can never be absolutely sure with any online service (ever heard of Omnidrive?), but as Google own Picasa it is probably pretty safe.

But why not have back-ups on CD as well? At less than £20 a hundred you can backup thousands of pictures for the price of a month's broadband.

I am sure you are right. It somehow seems easier to save them on line than on to disc. I had better do both then. Thank you.
