ooh and if you go here it is some sort of downloady site thingamy, if works on credits and you get bonus credits each day you don't use it, so if it is for xmas you join NOW and stockpile credits iyswim

I keep hearing about these cards.

What do they do? (in words of one syllable as very untechnical)

Flamesparrow · 04/11/2008 15:20

you store a load of games on the one card, negating the need for 10,000 different slotty inny things.

Kind of like having an album rather than singles

DesperateHousewifeToo · 04/11/2008 15:32

Ooooooh!

Sounds good. Ds always losing his ds slotty inny things, they are so small.

Do you do it on the computer? or straight from the ds?

ShrinkingViolet · 04/11/2008 15:47

so theoretically one could use one game slotty in thing on two DSes rather than having to buy two of the same games? Or is that horribly illegal? Someone mentioned these on my "I'm being dim about DSes" thread the other day, and I had a look, but couldn't work it out.

pofaced · 04/11/2008 15:50

Radio 4 on a Nintendo DS? Now that's what I call progress..

Polgara2 · 04/11/2008 17:08

Sorry rl beckoned!

We have R4s but tbh I have no idea which is the better system - they're DH's territory (sorry if that sounds a bit weedy ) I'll ask him when he gets home, but it wouldn't surprise me if we have R4s just because that's the system Dh heard of first!

Flamesparrow · 04/11/2008 17:34

I have no idea about the horribly illegal thing - seeing as you have to pay for extra credits from the download site, i am leaning towards not.

You would need two slotty things for two DSs unless they are never being played at the same time

great fast delivery

andyrobo237 · 07/02/2009 21:44

We have a R4 card, and it is not the best one to have, according to the site we have seen games to download on! I think it is the older generation of this type of thing!
