Why can't I email my video clip

I've got a short video clip taken on my canon digital camera which I uploaded onto my PC. I then tried to compress it to email. I think I chose 'compress and email'. This didn't work. I then tried to zip it but the file remains at 34MB and is too large to send.

Help - what am I doing wrong.

Anyone? It's a really important clip that I need to send to dad abroad.

What you are doing wrong is trying to send video by email - video files are big and email is not designed for sending big files.

Either upload it to or if you don't want it public, use a service like YouSendIt.
