Anyone know anything about the Dell Inspiron Mini laptop?

I am on a roll with my geeky questions this week.

Having posted about wanting mobile braodband I have now found a vodafone deal where I can get a FREE Dell Inspiron Mini laptopn with mobile broadband for £25 a month. Seems a prety good deal to me as we need a new laptop.

What I cannot work out from googling is whether you can watch DVDs on a Dell Inspiron Mini? Does anyone know? We would want to use it as a portable DVD player for long journey's with DD.

Also, in general, if you have this laptop what do you think of it?

Dell's site - says no optical drive.
You can get external DVD drives like this but you'd have to find somewhere to put it in the car.
