Pleeeeeeeeeeze. Tiny fingers have turned all the windows 90 degrees, and my flipping touch pad is going backwards. Typing this alone is hell. Searching archives for solution will make my eyes explode!Hellllllp!

Do you need us to find you an osteopath now for your cricked neck?

It's not really a ridiculous feature - my sister has a monitor which can be swivelled through 90 degrees so it's portait instead of landscape - very useful if you're working on long documents (she's a translator) - but of course you need to be able to change the display. Also there are various industrial situations where a computer's output may need to be switched in this way to a screen that is sideways or upside down.

You can actually turn it off - exactly how depends on your system - on my Vista machine I go to the Intel graphics icon in Control panel & take the tick out of the 'Enable rotation' box. An alternative is to untick the 'enable hotkeys' box if you have one.
If you're on XP, start with Start >> Control Panel >> Display >> Settings >> Advanced
where it is after that depends on your video card.
