Anyone have TalkTalk email? What has my Dad done with his?? Help.

He has set up a new email address with his name spelt correctly. He emailed to tell me this and I clicked reply. I noticed this had an extra letter in his name. He did not get my reply.
If I use the address he tells me he gets the emails. If anyone clicks reply to him it goes to this random address with the extra letter in his name. His settings must be wrong but how and how can he change them?? Please help if you can. TIA.

Basically he's got the setup correct for logging into his server and collecting the emails, but it's wrong where he's set up what actually goes into the email.

What email client is he using?

Thanks. I think he is just logging in via the Talk talk page at the moment (?). I will check. Is that what you mean by email client? Like Outlook express for eg??

Yes, a mail client would be something like Outlook Express.If he's using the web client, there may be some equivalent settings. I'm not a talk talk user, so I can't say for sure.

Generally there is a place to set the reply address which I assume he has mispelt.

I have tried the TalkTalk help pages but they are either not very helpful or off line....

Sorted it thank you. He was using Outlook after all so I was able to talk him through it and find his typo. The man at the call centre in India was on the phone for over half an hour but unable to work it out .
