can he find my deleted emails?

in a bit of a situation so would appreciate any help. i am leaving my partner but he does'nt know it & have sent some emails which if he found would tell him more then i want him to know iyswim. have deleted them from my trash is there anything else i need to do? thanx

Is it an online email address (such as yahoo/hotmail?) If so i'm sure you're safe. If it's not then delete everything in your recycle bin to be sure.

Does your email system have a "deleted items" folder? If so, make sure they are gone from there. And delete your temporary internet files and history if you have been looking at any websites to do with this.

If you use Thunderbird, select Compact Folders.
