Windows Live Messenger and Vista

Are the two compatible?

I've downloaded the program on to my computer but i'm having difficulty running it.

Appartently I don't have a proxy server or key ports.. is it something to do with my wireless?

I'm online! So def have a connection.

hmmm anyone else? i can't get internet explorer to work with my wireless either, could it be something to do with that?

No help to you what so ever but I have Vista,wireless and MSN so it is possible.

Hope someone can help.

DD had trouble getting it to run on her new vista laptop - I downloaded it again & reinstalled & it was fine - only difference was that she had used Firefox to download & I used IE - don't know if that was a coincidence or not.
