Tried to watch something last week, didn't work, yet somehow worked about an hour later.
Thought it was my crap pc, but iplayer works fine. Just tried it again, and nope it doesn't work. Have gogled but not alot of joy, and some link about it are months old.

any help out there?

you have to download something called silverlight, is your pop up stopping it?

i managed to play something on it last week. Since then i have run 'ccleaner', that's all i can think of. It just suddenly came on last week, no mention of having to download things.

and this silverlight would only be able to be downloaded if i had a 'proper' copy of windows, methinks?

haven't had any windows updates for about 2 yrs!

maybe its removed it..silverlight is on my list of programs(control panel/add removes progs) as microsoft silverlight..is it on your list?

Ah maybe thats it...we downloaded something from bitcomet called windows genuine forever Stops that annoying little thing popping up telling you yours isnt genuine.

so that thing you downloaded, it overrides the fact you havnet a proper version, well mine is it's just not registered to me!!!!

are you using internet explorer? itv doesn't work in others eg firefox

it works in my firefox and it was the pop up thing on firefox that made me realise mine wasnt working because i didnt have silverlight installed.
