My mobile phone isn't making any sounds/ringing etc. It's broken isn't it?

It's a Sony Ericsson K800i and I bought it in April - have hardly used it really, just to send texts a few times.
It's been uncharged for about 2 weeks, so I recharged it and suddenly it doesn't seem to ring any more?

I have tried altering the profile and made sure it isn't on silent...I can't think what's up with it.

It was from Argos and I have moved since I got it - can they look up your details on their system or will I need the receipt?

My Nokia 6120 does this on a regular basis. To resolve it, I turn it off. Then turn it back on again.

If you have not already tried it... try selecting Switch Off (or whatever the option is on your phone) to shut it down. Wait a couple of minutes and then turn it back on again.

I think they should work properly especially if they were expensive...

I just tried phoning mine and it rang, which was odd - I've missed about 3 calls in the last few days. It doesn't ring for texts as far as I can tell. Blardy article
