computer is having nervous breakdown and im going to join it. HELP

I have recently got wireless broadband connection but my computer still wants to dial up. every time i try to put up a page it says page unavailable offline do you want to connect.i have to press connect every bloody time. What can i do?

Double-click My Computer. Double-click Control Panel. Double-click Internet (or Internet Options). Click the Connections tab. Select the option, ?Never Dial a Connection?. Click OK and close the Control Panel.
