Computer is really sloooow. Trying to delete unnecessary software. Do I need to leave Java Update 4 and 5 on the computer when I have Java Update 6 on there?

No delete the old versions. the java install never seems to delete old versions. In very rare cases, you need the old version but been update 4 and update 6, not normally a problem.
