Facebook question. Someone I do not know has tried to add me as a friend, I clicked ignore the first time and they have tried to add me again. If I send them a message will they then have access to my profile?

Do you suspect them of sinister motives? COuld it not just be a friendofafriendofafriend who is a bit of a billy-no-mates and trying to up his/her numbers on Facebook?
