No. Acres is an area, you have three dimensions which would make it a cuboid.

ChippyMinton · 22/08/2008 16:04

Give me some more details

SqueakyPop · 22/08/2008 16:07

It's blowing my mind trying to think what the volumetric equivalent of an acre is - acre-foot?

SqueakyPop · 22/08/2008 16:08

An acre is 4840 square yards btw.

Anteater · 22/08/2008 16:50

sorry
these three figures are the sides of a triangle..

Does three-quarters of an acre sound about right?

RustyBear · 22/08/2008 16:57

That's based on the fact that it's almost an isosceles triangle (2 equal sides), so I used this to calculate the area in square yards - it came to 3 675.31263976 square yards which google calculator says = 0.759362116 acres

Anteater · 22/08/2008 17:11

yes it looks about right
thank you Rusty!!
