Unzipping zipped files. I know there's an easy way to do it in menus somewhere. Remind me?

Don't you just double click on it?

funnypeculiar · 14/08/2008 16:56

Are you on MacOSx?

I see you have tried that. Sorry not sure. Maybe its not a complete zipped file. Is it a download?

funnypeculiar · 14/08/2008 17:16

No, a data file from a client.
Have had problems accessing it, & for some reason they thought zipping it would make it easier

probably too late now.

sounds like either a screwed zip file or they've 'helpfully' put a password on it.

OSX will unzip standard zips, gzips, bzips and tars just by double-clicking.. ...so sounds like the file is fecked.
