help my screen has gone sideways

DS2 came over, whacked the laptop and now everythig is on it's side.
it's really difficult to use the mouse.
help me please!

I think contrl+ alt and pressing the arrows works.

why would anyone want that function in the first place?

My sister has a monitor which can be turned on its side, so it's portrait orientation, rather than landscape - so you have to turn the display too - she's a translator & it's much better that way for viewing documents.
