what media programme does the laptop use? have you tried opening it and seeing if the files are there somewhere?

have you searched for them on the laptop?

thisisyesterday · 29/07/2008 21:22

dp says pull the battery from the phone.

don't turn the phone off. just take the battery out.

there is a reasonable chance someone can recover it for you

WilfSell · 29/07/2008 21:22

I bet they're not lost though - did you have something ticked when transferring that says 'delete files from original source'. We have this option on photoshop and have unclicked it...

Can you talk us through exactly what happened and what you did and what the very last few steps were in particular... Every tiny detail however daft you think it...

thisisyesterday · 29/07/2008 21:23

he says that there is a reasonable chance they arte still on the phone. but shutting the phone down may cause a proper delete.

you need a data recovery person to see if they can find it, but will cost
