What can I do with a fairly new Blackberry - no longer needed?

I'm switching mobile companies and they're sending me a new Blackberry, so my fairly new Blackberry 8820 won't be any use to me. I know with mobiles you can unlock them and sell them or use them with other PAYG cards. But can I do anything similar with Blackberries, or would that only work for the phone bit and the email won't work at all unless you've got a contract with someone?

From a quick look online, it looks like people sell them on ebay. And they can be unlocked in phone shops, I think. I expect they can use them with whatever contract?

Yes, You can unlock a Blackberry and sell it too. you can unlock a Blackberry safer and easier using unlock code. You can get the unlock code for a Blackberry from www.simpleunlocking.com/blackberry-unlocking-service/rs16wp10/ at affordable cost with free unlocking instructions.

You can also donate the phone if you want to - up to you of course! Are there no teens in the family who would rip a Blackberry out of your hands as soon as look at you?

Have you considered Mazuma or other recycling services who buy your phones? Good way to get a bit of cash back if no family or friends want or need the phone.
