How do i move my contact numbers from one mobile to another???

I have a Samsung D840(Vodafone network) but have just got a Nokia 6500(3 Network).
I want to copy all my contact numbers onto the new phone but have no idea what to do apart from entering threm in one by one.
Can i do it all in one go?
Please help .

Don't know either of those particular phones but most have options to copy numbers from phone to sim card and vice versa.

So sim card in 1st phone, copy to sim. Transfer sim to 2nd phone, reverse process.

Do they both have bluetooth? If they do you can usually bluetooth them across all in one go

putting them all on SIM only works if you are keeping same network

Pillockofthecommunity-both phones have bluetooth.
Have tried what you said and i selected send all contacts but it is only sending the ones begining with 'A'.
Any more advice?

if your using same sim then you can copy all to sim from phone then just use sim card in other phone

go to one beginning with b and try doing it again? sorry, no idea, i told mine to send all and it did!

POC-Tried that but it's just tranfering over the a's again AAARRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!

that's not good. delete the A's from the old phone now they've transferred and then see what it does?

or it could be that the new phone is saving them to SIM and only has a few SIM slots? Try setting the new phone so the default is to save to phone?
