Blocking Pop ups?

how do i stop it. i think this computer used to utomatically but now it won't and they're driving me nuts.

am not that geeky but I use Ubuntu and some ad blocker thingy ABP which is quite effective

If you install the google toolbar (from their website)which is useful anyway, it will block them.

I appear to have a google toolbar. with a blocker. still getting them though.

If using Internet Explorer look on the tools menu at the top at Pop Up Blocker. It may be turned off
