Is there a way to see at a glance whether there are any updates to threads i'm on...?

...without clicking on each one in the "threads i'm on" link?

Otherwise i'm really rubbish at managing my threads!

when i click 'threads im on' it has the thread title and the first line of each recent post up to a maximum of 18,so if mine is the last post listed i know ive killed the thread there are no new posts iyswim.

oh bloody hell, my "threads i'm on" stops at my entry, even though there are more after....

now,thats confusing.i shall bump this again hopefully somebody will know whether thats normal and mine is freaky

Right, i really don't want to admit to this...but...i have just realised (from staring and staring) that you read UPWARDS. And then you see all the new threads above your last entry. Yes, yes, user error [hides in a hole...] not enough sleep you see [...fades away]
