Windows Mail problem - can I store my emails from a dis-used account?

I was with AOHell, but they have now cut me off.

I still have my IMAP settings, and emails in Vista Windows Mail. It comes up every time I open asking me for verification info on my AOHell account...which doesn't actually exist any more. Thing is I was just going to leave them there so that I could keep the emails - but I have now found out that I can't even send any emails either - even if I try to send them from my gmail account.

is there a way I can delete the AOL imap settings and associations and still keep my AOL emails?

Yes I can see the emails up tothe point where AOHell cut me off.

Do I just copy them to my top inbox thingy, is this my local inbox?
