Texts not being delievered?

Since Friday my Texts to DP have not been delivered. My delivery reports are 'waiting'.
We are both on Vodafone PAYG but I can text anyone else with no problems.
I can also receive texts from DP. It's just mine to him that are not getting there.
Is it my phone or his? Any ideas?

have you tried switching off and on and also readjusting sim card?

sometimes phone just has a breakdown which this can fix (highly tech solution taught to me by my dss).

If not I'd ring vodafone.. may be your phone is playing up..

Can you text out at all?

I'm afraid I'm not a geek but something similar has happened to my dad and all his text outs stopped working - he could still receive. It was to do with his text out number being wrong (not the number he was texting but the internal number stored within the phone for use sending texts) some how its stored in a different way to the phone audio calls number and had got overtyped with something else which caused a problem. He went into the phone shop and one of those young lads who look like they should be at school pushed a few keys and sorted it for him!

Tried switching off, taking out SIM etc.
Everything that I can find on forums about Message problems.
It's only my messages TO him. I can text anyone else no problem. I can even receive from him.

does it never send a text to him regardless of if you reply, use his details from address book or type in his number fresh?

Hey presto! They have started going through.
He says it was a glitch in the network but he was the only one not receiving mine!!
