Every time I log on a balloon pops up saying my firewall is off?

Does anyone know why this is happening please? I've searched my poota and can't find why?

Assuming it's XP (others may be similar) you need to go to Control Panel. You need to go to Windows Firewall in there and turn it on.

That's assuming you want it on - though you probably should. If something like MSN then stops working come back for more advice on allowing it.

If you just want it to stop pestering you then go to control panel security Center. Click on 'Change the way security center alerts me' on the left and you'll see an option to shut it up.
