Consistently, very spooky. Anyone know why?

I suspect it is something to do with pigmentation.

I know DS1 and I get it more than DH and DS2.

We have brown eyes, they have blue/grey.

I thought DC with red eye in photo showed that they truly were spawn of the devil...

Me/DS1

Yup, you may be on to something.

Isn't it more to do with how dilated pupils are when photo is taken? Maybe some people tend to have more dilated pupils than others?

It's dds
I can look direct into flash (brown eyes) and only get a tiny amount and they both have devil eyes (hazel brown). Eekkk

The red colour is the flash lighting up the blood in the back of the eye as seen through the pupil. Possibly some people's pupils consrict faster than others?

CoteDAzur · 18/06/2008 17:35

It's the color of the eye.

Light colored eyes tend to be consistently red in photos.

mummymusings · 18/06/2008 17:36

no its because some people are a lot emptier behind there than others and its just the flash lighting up all that space only kidding, ive no idea. but isnt it annoying when its just on one eye as well.
