My Mum's phone was a Nokia, but not a smartphone, very old (maybe 16 yrs or more), and now stopping working. It has been a long time since I have used a cable to transfer files from a phone and I am not sure whether this would even be the same now.
My thought is that I can transfer to a laptop with a data cable, the laptop would detect its drives if connected, but am I right? Do you need any particular tool or app on the laptop end to be able to save or convert the images? Better still, are there companies who are used to doing this?
