download from napster to i-pod

How can I download from napster to my i-pod?

As far as I know you can copy MP3s to an I- pod (I don't own one) so it would be just a case of only downloading MP3s unless you want the hassle of converting them. For example I-Pod doesn't play WMA files.

Arrghh! ignore that. The last time I had anything to do with napster it was an illegal filesharing program and easy to use.
Now you pay for the songs and are not allowed to do what you want with them. A great improvement

There may be ways. I will keep my eyes open, but one that should work is to burn them to a CD and then import them from that into ipods software.

Failing that just get utorrent and download them all again illegally (bearing in mind that you already paid).

I have done this, but it is a bit long winded. I bought converter software from a site called DRM Removal for about £15. This changes the format of your files from protected WMA (what they are on Napster) to make them usable on an Ipod. I think Napster is better value than buying from ITunes which is why I did it, but you have to select files from your PC which you have downloaded from Napster, then convert them using this software and save again on ITunes so it can be time consuming.
