question about PCs and podcasts

I have an apple mac but I want to do a favour for a friend and put her some podcasts on a CD

can she play them on her PC even if she does not have i-Tunes (she is a bit of a technophobe lol) if I just drag them onto my desktop and burn them onto a CD or do I need to change them to another format

and how do I do it (cheeky! i know) if so?

Yep mp3 format is fine on both

oh I am so stupid I didn't realise podcasts were mp3s I had an idea they were some 'special format' lmao

thanks for putting me out of my ignorance

No worries, the way the beeb etc go on about them you'd think they were some special format!

BTW if you have iTunes, just put them in a library and drag it to the blank CD and it automatically copies them.
