Windows media player has gone and I can't reinstall it - H E L P

I believe it's classed as an OS component, so the installation procedure is a little different from a regular program (just a Windows quirk, not something you'd find in a sane OS).

On XP, in the "add/remove programs" window look for "Add/remove Windows Components" on the left hand side. Click on that, scroll down and tick the box labelled "windows media player", click next and follow through the dialogues.

I did what you said and it worked. Thanks alot. I can now watch video clips of me screaming on rollercoasters on holiday !!!
