New computer blah blah blah, when I right click nothing happens.......I'm sure it's probably something really simply and I would probably be able to figure it out myself but after teh day I've had I can't work it out.

Where are you trying to right click? On the desktop?

FAQ · 02/06/2008 23:41

doesn't matter when I try nothing is happening....something in my fuzzled brain is telling me that there is an option somewhere on a computer to "switch off" the right click - but I'm

a) not sure if I'm dreaming it

b) not sure how to do it if @m not dreaming

You can turn off right click, unlikely this has been done.

Does it not work at all?

Twinklemegan · 02/06/2008 23:43

Yes, I think there is something. I'll have a wee look...

well it's a new computer to me - but a 2nd hand one (although a VERY nice 2nd hand one) so could have been disabled by previous owner.

You can check though by going to Control Panel and "Mouse" (might be under Printers and Other Hardware). See what option is selected for the right button.
