Making text larger

How do I make the text on my itsy-bitsy laptop permanently bigger? (That sounds like one of those spam emails, lol!) I use the page/zoom function to enlarge atm but it only works for that particular page and doesn't make the toolbars bigger. Any ideas? Tia.

Windows or Mac?

If windoze, go to windows themes and accessibility and change to a larger size there.

Right click an empty part of the desktop and and select Properties. Now click the Appearances tab. There are options there to cautiously experiment with.

If you're in right click the desktop, then on Properties - you can change the font size in the Appearance tab or the resolution of the display in settings - move the slider to the left to make things bigger.
