Question about dvds

A family member is getting married in the US.

She is having the ceremony recorded, and will send us a copy.

I know (from doing a search on mnet earlier) that with pre-recorded dvds generally in the UK we need either Region 2, or 0 which afaik is universal.

I am not sure if the situation is different in this case. Will it be tricky for her to sort this out with the person doing the recording - what should she actually ask for?

Thanks in advance.

If its not a hollywood release it will be regionless .... region 0. So you'll be fine ..... except if it is the US it is very likely to be NTSC (vs PAL UK) ..... but again most TV's now and DVD players in the UK will be fine..... so in summary you should be fine.
