Problems with broadband

My mum is with orange broadband, has a uwclub line not a bt one. Has been working fine. 2 days ago the orange service went down and they had no broadband for the day. Since it's been back on she can only get to her emails, web pages won't load. She has 2 laptops and it's the same on both of them. Orange say there is no problem with them now. BT have been doing some work to the box near her house. Does anyone have any ideas whats wrong. Thanks

Bottom line, if she can get her emails, then the link is fine as far as Orange. The problem is Orange's responsibility.

Thanks for the reply, I told mum what you said in the first message, tech people said it's not down, so she told them to cancel her bb, she had to go through customer services, who decided the service is down, and they are going to give her 6mths free now. Still not back on yet and she's getting really with them. Thanks for the link will look at it now.

Ok so I have been to my mums today. She can still get her emails, and load pages like mumsnet, tazbar and I could get onto my internet banking account with Natwest. Ebay and the b and q site which we also tried just won't load. Is this still an orange problem, or is it her laptop now (on vista), they had her change so many settings trying to get it to work. Going to google orange to see what I can find now. Thanks
