App or software to consolidate various photos in different clouds

I have thousands of photos, my iCloud and partners iCloud both back up to Amazon photos. I also have some on my laptop which is Microsoft so uploading to one drive, these also upload to Amazon photos.
is there an app or software to consolidate all of these to one place?
amazon has been ideal but it won’t let me add locations to photo taken before 2016 (when I got a decent iPhone) and also tags people automatically but it’s sometimes wrong and I can’t change it so it has some limitations.
I have been manually adding locations to my older iCloud Photos and adding any people it doesnt recognise but there must be an easier way!
any ideas anyone?

I would suggest consolidating all of your images into iCloud, and use the in built duplication function to remove duplicates.

I would suggest the following steps.

  1. Optionally backup your iCloud Photo Library.
  2. Export all photos from Amazon and One drive, retaining the EXIF data that includes the location etc.
  3. Import the photos into Apple Photos, ideally on a Mac, or via iCloud.com, I would recommend you do them in small batches, and increase the quantity as confidence grows. Don't worry about any duplicates at this stage.
  4. Allow Apple Photo's to detect any duplicates, might take a few hours
  5. Remove the duplicates (Utilities > duplicates) you can multi select them and delete them all on one go.
  6. Optionally re-organise into albums and fix Locations etc (which you can bulk select and update so not too painful)

Please Note

You may need to increase the capacity of your iCloud account
All of your images should appear on your phone, and on your Mac, or Windows PC if you install Apple Photos for Windows.

If you want selected images from your partners iCloud account, I suggest exporting them and re-importing them into yours. (Alternatively if you want to merge all of them let me know as I believe their is a way, just never need to do it)

Initially you might want to try the workflow with a dozen images and include some duplicates.
