I would like to be able to send faxes from my computer - can anyone recommend a provider?

At the moment I just want to send faxes, but it would probably be handy to be able to receive them too so long as it didn't cost too much. If I go for the receiving option then I would like to have a company that isn't going to disappear suddenly and a reasonable annual charge.

I've Googled and a found a few companies along the lines of this one, but I have no way of knowing which ones are reliable and which aren't.

TIA.

freefaxtoemail - not used it but as it's free might be worth a play?

freefaxtoemail is a receive only operation - unless I've read it wrongly. I need to be able to send them too. Although perhaps I could send from my link and use freefaxtoemail for any incoming.

I suspect that it would cost a lot for someone else to fax stuff to me as that must be how they make a profit. They don't really make it clear.

Ah sorry, I only skimmed it.

No, it's a good link, I'll add it to my list of possibles. I'm a bit worried that they don't give the charges for people to send faxes to me though. I'd hate to think that it cost £5 a minute or whatever, especially if a friend is faxing me something.

Hubby says he used to use efax at work and they are apparently reliable. He did say that he has only used it to send though not receive, so can't comment on that side of things.
