Complete mobile phone ignoramus. Is there as big diference between networks, and which would you recommend? Thinking of 3. Is this any good?

Not impressed with T-Mobile, I have gone back to Orange

DH and I both use Virgin, and I haven't had any problem with them.

I'm with 3 atm, have been for 3 years, this is only because I wouldn't get a contract with anyone else. I would say they are ok, very very annoying Indian call centre though which takes an age to do anything. If I could choose, I would choose O2, they have always been good value and good customer service.

Thanks - still unsure which to go for

DP and I with Virgin, no probs. Virgin to Virgin calls are free. If you have cable they do a really good 3 for £30 (cable, telephone, mobile) or 4 for £40 (cable, telephone, mobile, broadband). I get 300 texts and 300 minutes for £10, which is more than enough for me and can be to any mobile phone or any landline. Sorry, if I'm sounding like an ad for Virgin, but I've been really happy with them so far. I also get much better coverage with Virgin than I do with my Vodafone work mobile.

I've heard 3 are good if you intend to do a lot of Internet access on your phone.
