can't open attachment to my emails

Nothing happens when I click on open. Any ideas please?

DO you have AOL? If so (may be the same with other internet people also) at the top is a blue clicky bit saying "to enable pictures and links" (or similar) - you click that and it unlocks it.

what sort of file is it?
