what laptop do you have and would you recommend it?

I'd like to buy a laptop. I've never had one before, always had Dell desktops. I'd probably go for a Dell laptop unless someone can recommend a better brand.
It needs to have a very good graphics card and at least 2GB of RAM.
I have about £1,000 to spend.

Dp on the other hand has an Acer and it is a pile of shite,Never but an Acer !

HP Pavillion 6000 series - run a mile. It's been back to John Lewis so many times for major faults. I would't touch another HP.

remember on macs even though they have a one button mousepad, if you use an external two/three button mouse, you can use the other buttons like windows. just don't buy the mac mouse - i haven't heard many good things about them!
