How do you save youtube clips to disk?

My school has a rubbish block on youtube, even for staff

One of the techies at school has transferred a couple of clips across for me but you usually need 5 weeks notice and your birth certificate before he gets it done.

However, he told me there's a programme you can download on your home pc and get the clips copied. Anyone know which it is and how to do it?

Copy the url of the clip you want from the address bar of your browser and paste it into the box on this site
download youtube clips

You may need the FlvPlayer to play it back

keepvid.com/ does the same thing but for lots of different video sites
