Is there any way someone can access MSN conversations after the window has been closed?

you can save convos if you opt in to that

or the person you are chatting to can keep their window open

they arent publicly archived tho or searchable

Depends whether you have set MSN to save conversations. If it has been set to save all convos should be in start > documents > my received files > name of user

no - her ds hasn't set options to save. there's no way of retrieving them if it's not?

I think if you look in temporary internet files you may be able to.
