totaljobs.co.uk

reed.co.uk

gojobsite.co.uk

Are all pretty good.

Freelance work? Or what?

I need to think about finding some, some time.

GeekBoy · 18/04/2008 08:40

full time work. Fortunately I haven't had to look for a job in 14+ years and in that time the big wide mintynet has come along. I was interested in where to post a job-ad that would actually get read as I'm looking to hire someone pretty soon (before I got mad in fact).

Many thanks.

Ah, I always used to like jobserve for geeky jobs. But I think they charge. Craigslist is pretty geeky but not popular with the non-americans (but free). Gumtree isn't bad maybe?

cheers NQC, being charged isn't a problem (in fact I was expecting to be charged..) I'll take a look at jobserve.

Depending on where you are and what you are looking for (you don't give too much away)
one of my local sites - which is good, is Wired Sussex www.wiredsussex.com/jobs/JobSearch.asp

Basically it'll be a London based job, Desktop type stuff, some web dev.. ...but didn't want a description almost be an ad. Jobserve seem ok, as do monster. Had a quick look through your site as well...
