I have an old palm T3. But I frequently forget my keys, brain, child, phone...

I'm back to work soon and am wondering whether to invest in some all in one electronic diary, phone, organiser type thing.

I need to be able to update it on more than one PC. and ideally to interact with my DH's palm but maybe that's asking too much.

What I'd REALLY like is a fully integrated single gadget which has excellent versions of each of the following: organiser/diary, phone, camera, MP3 player, coffee machine. Well, I was lying about the coffee machine but you know what I mean.

Does anyone have any recommendations? Do I need a Blackberry? Or some other kind of Smartphone? Is it worth trying to get one with a camera or am I better off with a separate camera? And indeed a separate phone? Thanks v much.

My dh has a hp 6915 which is a phone/pda/satnav. It links to pc and outlook etc for appt and calender stuff.

He is actually gonna sell this because we have changed our car and it has something built into windscreen that stops the satnav getting a proper signal and he needs sat nav for work. He only bought it in August and has been in a case since he got it. The camera oon this is good as well, although im not into pda's or gadgets so if you wanted more info I can ask him this evening for you.

I've got a palm 750V which does all the above.... ...had it for a year without any problems.

My DH would say that you need an iPhone.

I've got an iPod Touch (I didn't need the 'phone bit) and it's great, but we're mainly Mac users here, and it integrates brilliantly with my laptop. I use the calendar, contacts and notes etc which then back up onto our dot Mac account and DH can see the calendar and contacts at work too. Doesn't have a camera though. DH's colleague has an iPhone and thinks it's fab - he can also surf anywhere whereas I can only connect when there's a wireless connection.

if you're thinking about an iPhone then wait. v2.0 is out in around 2 months with 3G and activesync (so you can easily sync outlook etc.) We're ditching out Palms when the new iPhone comes out..
