Fb messenger/FB green light active status accurate?

Just that really. Is someone's "recently active" time or the green light on Facebook and messenger fairly accurate? Two people I know are always on and offline at the same time, no-one else correlates like this....yes I'm mildly jealous and won't bore you with the details 😆🙈

in my understanding not usually, but if you suspect an affair, then you would need more than just facebook to prove your suspicion's

Thanks @OneNimbleFish it's nothing as heavy as that. I do appreciate your kind response. I'm just getting closer to a male friend as we've both been separated from exes for years, lonely and becoming more than friends. Another lady I know is on FB a lot but seems to go "green" or go back offline identical times to him....every day for months.....FB messenger puts her name at the top of my friends list you see, so I spot her straight away. She's apparently happily married anyway. It's probably glitchy but after reading so many horror stories here on MN I'm cautious! He's a lovely man so I should really just relax and put my phone on inactive so I can't see who's online, ha ha.

Mine can sometimes be wrong. I get Ds texting me saying answer me because you are on facebook but I'm working 😂

I think if it's running in the background it still shows active but I might be wrong.
