Looking for FREE ANTIVIRUS. Any recomendations?

Title says it all really. Usd to use AOL but that isn't available. What's next best and can you post a link?

There is a great one which gets recommended over and above Norton etc.

A think it is AVG or something like that.

We have AVG which i Free (theres a pay for version too) - shoudl come up on a gole search and also something called Spybot whic is similar but does something to do with adverts! Hope this helps - ord to the wise (its not free but oftenvery cheap, avoid McAfee as apparently it messes up the system and slows everything down!)

(But I have McAfee for years and it has been fine)

AVG free - make sure you click on the right option otherwise you get the paid for one (I think the free one is version 7.5).

Oh - wonder if its something to do with different systems then - we had it and wee having serious problems, very slow particuarly on internet etc, got it mended and a comment that cam e back was that McCafee was slowing it down and wasnt great - I guess if youe not having problems though, leave well alone! Its not often that computers behave!

I've vote for AVG Free too and yeah Spybot is good to have in addition to the Antiviris because they look for different things.
