My new computer doesn't hibernate or go on stand by by itself....how do I tell it to?

My old computer hibernated after a few minutes saving the battery

This one won't where do I go to tell it to hibernate after 4 minutes or so?

Control Panel - Power Options.

You have to go on the Hibernate Tab to enable it. Then go to the Power Schemes tab and use the system standby drop down list to choose when.
